Snowshoe at Peabody-Fitch Woods

When: Saturday, January 26th, 9:00 AM
Where: Meet at Narramissic Farm, Narramissic Road, South Bridgton
What: Join Loon Echo Staff and new Executive Director Matt Markot for a snowshoe hike on the pending Peabody Fitch Woods Preserve in South Bridgton. Weather permitting, we will explore some old roads, stone walls and the 18th century granite quarry while learning about the history of the farm. Meet at 8:45 for the 9:00 hike. Layered clothing, snacks and water are always encouraged. Snowshoes or traction device may be required. Strenuous. Approximately 2 hours.
All outdoor events are subject to weather conditions and/or date changes. Events will be postponed or cancelled when dangerous conditions or heavy weather are forecasted.
