Trek for the Trails presented by Norway Savings Bank

All outdoor events are subject to weather conditions and/or date changes. Events will be postponed or cancelled when dangerous conditions or severe weather are forecasted. For more information, please contact (207) 647-4352, stewardship@lelt.org for updates.

August 4 – Trail Opening & Tours

Narrmissic Farm, Bridgton

Join us to celebrate the new trails at Peabody-Fitch Woods in Bridgton! A tour of the trails will depart Narramissic Historic farm at 4pm, and come for demonstrations of the Blacksmith shop starting at 5pm. A concert by Bruce Marshall will happen at 6pm. Suggested donation of $10/adult will support Narramissic & Peabody-Fitch Woods.

August 4 – Sunset Concert with Bruce Marshall

We’re excited to welcome back – again! – local (and LELT) favorite Bruce Marshall for a fourth Acoustic Sunset concert season. A tireless performer with great originals, an expressive, soulful voice and accompanying guitar style on acoustic and steel dobro, he’s earned a reputation as one of New England’s best. Bruce has opened for the likes of BB King and most recently, Jay Leno.

Bring chairs, blankets, and a picnic.

Suggested donation: $10/person. Proceeds to benefit Narramissic & Peabody-Fitch Woods.

Kite day at Hacker’s Hill in Casco. Join Casco Rec and kite specialist John Martin to build, decorate, and fly your own kite! Meet at the top of Hacker’s Hill at 10:00 AM. Registration is required. Join LELT and the Maine Outdoor Film Festival for an evening of Outdoor Films, shown outdoors at Hacker’s Hill Preserve.

Suggested donation: $10/adult. You may donate online now or at the event. Donations are non-refundable. Proceeds to benefit Loon Echo Land Trust.

September – Trek for the Trails

All month long
Any LELT Preserve

Run, walk, hike, bike, skip or drive- all on your own time and to support the trails you love! The Trek is LELT’s biggest fundraising event of the year. You’ll have all of September to complete your Trek. All Trekkers are encouraged to document their Trek with a selfie or video, as well as raise money from friends and family to support local trails & conservation.
