Our regular schedule of events is on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We will plan in-person, outdoor events as we are able to moving forward.

All LELT events will take current guidance from state and local officials into consideration in order to protect the health of everyone in our community. Precautions may include physical distancing, limiting the number of participants, required pre-registration, and wearing masks. All events are subject to cancellation and/or changes.

Try Snowshoeing at Raymond Community Forest

All outdoor events are subject to weather conditions and/or date changes. Events will be postponed or cancelled when dangerous conditions or severe weather are forecasted. For more information, please contact (207) 647-4352, stewardship@lelt.org for updates.

For hikes and work days, always wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather conditions and varied terrain. Please bring water and snacks with you. Obedient dogs on leashes are welcome at LELT events unless specified. “Like” us on Facebook for more information on upcoming events!

Family Snowshoe Day
Saturday, March 6th, 9am – 12pm
Raymond Community Forest 

Loon Echo Land Trust and Raymond Parks and Recreation Department are teaming up to have families try snowshoeing for FREE! We will have snowshoes available to use on the trails from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Please remember to observe proper social distancing guidelines while participating; travel only with immediate family, allow at least 6 feet of distance between groups of people, and please wear a mask when you cannot keep 6 feet apart.


Sunset Concert with Bruce Marshall

We’re excited to welcome back – again!- local (and LELT) favorite Bruce Marshall for a fourth Acoustic Sunset concert season. A tireless performer with great originals, an expressive, soulful voice and accompanying guitar style on acoustic and steel dobro, he’s earned a reputation as one of New England’s best. Bruce has opened for the likes of BB King and most recently, Jay Leno.

Bring chairs, blankets, and a picnic!

Suggested donation: $10/person. You may donate online at registration or at the event. Donations are non-refundable. Proceeds to benefit Narramissic & Peabody-Fitch Woods.

Run, walk, hike, bike, skip or drive- all on your own time and to support the trails you love! You’ll have all of September to complete your Trek. All Trekkers are encouraged to document their Trek with a selfie or video, as well as raise money from friends and family to support the trails they love.
